MAN Truck & Bus in Munich
How I arrived at MAN
It was through friends that I ended up doing an internship. I enjoyed it so much that I told myself that's where I want to start my apprenticeship.
What I currently do at MAN
Having learned all about turning, welding, metal technology and such like in the first few apprenticeship years and having also done an S7 apprenticeship in programming, I can now take responsibility for really important tasks and use my knowledge in everyday work.
What I am particularly proud of
We are sometimes required to look for a programme error in our NPS station. That can sometimes take days or even months because it is a complex system with lots of different programmes. And if you are the one who finds the error, you are pretty happy and proud.
Why I like working at MAN:
The colleagues are good fun, the working atmosphere is great and my journey to work is short. That was also important for me. And I like the fact that as a mechatronics technician, I effectively have two jobs in one. If you are interested in electrical engineering and metalworking, then it is great.
